Apple Orchards have always been such a fond, distant memory in my head ever since we were little. We use to go to them in New Jersey when we were little kids and pick apples for our mom to bake delicious treats with. The Apple Orchards in Ohio are gorgeous and all over so we headed over there Friday afternoon!
Apple Orchards on Friday Afternoon
Location: Kuner’s Apple Orchard, Green, OH, September 24th 2016
Look Details: Zara Dress, Boots (Black (c/o)), Hat (I made it in Italy!), BR Purse, Madewell Necklace, Trollbeads Bracelets & Rings
I was way too excited about these pictures to wait any longer so, I figured a weekend post was necessary! The Apple Orchard right outside of school made for a heavenly Friday afternoon. I cannot even explain to you how much I loved this little place. The serene feeling, rolling fields and plethora of trees was so relaxing.
Plus, the amount of apple types they had at the orchard blew my mind! However, My mom swears by picking the McIntosh apples- she thinks they make the best treats (and she’s a fabulous baker so I cannot disagree). But, we wandered over to the Empires, because they were ready to pick!
When I saw these little guys, I was so giddy. They always make me feel at home when I see horses around. Although we are not in a rural part of Texas, we always drive by horses!
There is a chance this is me trying to win over the horse and there is an even bigger chance this is me reacting to touching the electric fence and getting shocked. But, I was so excited I might have missed that small detail. I am always so enamored by horses- the size and beauty of them is amazing.
However, I got bucked off a horse when I rode them in the vineyards of Italy, so I am slowly working on building trust with them again. It was scary as heck! But, I was so happy to see them here at the Apple Orchard- it was such a treat!
Today might be the last really hot day for Ohio and I think I am actually a little happy. So, Fall being here means I am ready to break out the boots and cardigans- I linked a few of my bootie favorites below!
We already planned a Farmer’s Marker trip this weekend, as well as a trip to this well known farm & market. We are soaking up all the fun fall festivities we can!
