I have realized as I follow bloggers, I love knowing more about them then what always comes to the surface on Instagram/snapchat etc. I love digging deeper and knowing more about their life and real personality. It gives you the ability to create friendships and truly relate to their style and life. I think it is the big difference between a celebrity and a blogger. With that being said, I wanted to share a peek into my life with you all today, so we can all become even better friends!

First thing first, I am from McKinney, Texas! It is right outside Dallas and truly has my heart. It has the best small town feel despite its growing numbers. Secondly, I am one of four kids! I have an older sister, a sister younger than me, and a little brother! On top of that, I have the worlds best parents who I really owe all my successes, happiness and experiences to! I cannot imagine what I would do without them and am beyond blessed to have two parents that love us the way they do (I also have a Siberian Husky named Maya, and a Australian Shepherd named Kona that we all love dearly).
Secondly, I go to Kent State University for Fashion Design! It is outside Cleveland, OH, and very, VERY, far from home. Despite it being something I often struggle with, but I know has made me grow as a person in so many ways. If I could motivate people to go away to school I most definitely would. On top of that, I have lived in Florence, Italy and NYC each for 5 months at a time.
Speaking of being far away from home, I am also far away from Russell who you often hear me mention, my boyfriend! We went to HS together and now play the good ole’ long distance game (that is almost over- hello senior year!!!) as he attends The United States Air Force Academy and plays baseball there! I have been so blessed with him and enjoy every little moment we get together.
I adore sports (go Cowboys, Red Sox and Arkansas Razorbacks!) and have played them my entire life, leading up to college! Now, my passions include sports of course, being outside, photography, art, family time and blogging (duh!!). I started this blog January of my freshman year (2014) and really enjoy every second of it. My photographers change with location, but usually are my roommate Hannah, my freshman roommate Rachel, or either of my sisters! I use a Canon t6i and shoot with a 50mm fixed lens!
