This Saturday was packed to the brim for us. When homework is rather light and no one works, we venture anywhere and everywhere we can. We got to shoot so many different places and I cannot wait to all the exciting posts I have for you all in the next few weeks. With that being said, October Saturdays are my favorite because you can be outside from sunrise to sunset and never get too cold or too hot. The breeze is perfect, you can smell the apple cider in the air and best of all you get to break out all of those fall pieces you have been dying to wear.

Fall has always been the hardest season for me to find dresses that work. I need longer sleeves for chillier days but it cannot be too thick or I’ll be way hot- see, that’s a dilemma! However, since moving up north for school years I like to think I have hit the nail on the head when it comes to fall dresses.
October Saturdays are always incredibly relaxing and easy-going. For example, this weekend we started off at the arboretum to see the fall foliage, headed to Cleveland for lunch and then grabbed tea and wandered a bit. As we take on long walks, busy resturants and windy streets (plus getting in and out of cars a lot), I strive to have a comfortable dress to take on the day.
With that being said, I shared a handful of my favorite above and below that are PERFECT for crazy or relaxing October Saturdays. They are the chic-looking, but throw on easy dresses.
I love the color of this one, the beautiful detail on this one, the suede fabric of this one (stay tuned this week for my suede favorites), the comfort of this one, and the feminine touch of this gorgeous dress!
I also love transitioning summery dresses into fall with jackets, like I did here and this post. As you take on your own October Saturdays, dress them up with a fun little fall number and you will be even happier to be out and about enjoying the fresh air! Fall is a short season so try and get the most of it. I know I will be!
