I tossed on this comfortable Italian poplin button down and my favorite tweed skirt and ventured out to our favorite little town for a night out. When we stumbled across these townhouses a few weekends ago in Hudson, I instantly ran to this door (and when I say I ran, I mean it). Can we talk about this door and the wreath? It is EVERYTHING! I think I knew I am growing up and ready to graduate when I started to realize that I love all the little decor things that my mom oo’s and ahh’s about.
White Blouse With My Favorite Tweed Skirt
Hudson, Ohio, November 7th, 2016
I adore fall/winter skirts so much and up north it is sort of silly, but I think after growing up down south for so long I am so use to wearing them even in the chillier weather.
However, I have gotten really good at wearing them here with tights and boots when it gets colder in order to keep them in my wardrobe and not have to say farewell.
There is something about the effortless beauty in winter/fall skirts that really catches my eye. The tweed, houndstooth, boucle and wool fabrics are always so incredibly detailed that I cannot help but love them.
I pair them with shirts like this white blouse and am ready to go. This white blouse is the perfect go-to on the go shirt that you can dress up or down. Plus, throw on a pair of loafers, like these I have on, and you are all set. This pair is UBER comfortable! I cannot get enough of them.
I love this pink skirt for holiday parties, this gorgeous one that is perfect for a casual day out, this one that is the perfect color for fall, this one that follows the velvet trend I adore and this one that is so unique and full of character.
On top of all of those, I linked plenty more of my favorites out right now, plus some more easy, effortless. tweed jackets to throw on to spruce up the outfit even more. I hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday!
