I have always loved the glamour that comes with the idea of beauty products, but I have yet to get to the point in my life where I can spend a ton on them (hello, college student life). So, over the past few years I have really found my favorite beauty products that give a natural look and are of high quality!
My Favorite Beauty Products That Will Not Break The Bank

Lipstick has always made me really nervous. I think the right hue can brighten your teeth, but the wrong one can also be detrimental to the color you face and skin look (see- scary, right?). So, I have tossed many lipsticks and tried many more to find the colors that I think fit my skin tone perfectly. I always like to go for a rosey pinkish color that has a little peach tint so that my lips are not too dark and my teeth look extra white.
This Revlon lipstick has been my go-to for FOREVER, and I am welcoming this rimmel color in for the holiday. I also have really grown to love the paris and bermuda Cargo Cosmetics options. I want to try the Cargo Cosmetics Gloss as well! Also, if you are not using a primer, get one- I rub my lipstick off at night because the primer makes it stay so well.
I am always a slacker when it comes to my nails and it drives my mom crazy (Hi Mom, Love You!!!!!), so I have really worked this semester to get better at it. Between sewing and drawing for school the polish always chips so fast so I just gave up trying to keep up with them. However, this Sally Hansen Miracle Top Coat, Diamond Shine, 18k Gold Hardener, and Polish (love this for christmas, this for a daily neutral) have changed my nails! They last for so long, even with all the work I do with my hands. I also always love Essie and their gorgeous colors like this one, this perfect holiday color and my go to.
Now for face make up, I am always pretty light on my face because nothing is worse than when you can tell someone has layers and layer of face make up on. Caked on makeup is just not cute! As long as my skin is doing relatively well, I just stick to a BB or CC cream like these over my pore refining primer, and then finish with blush like this one or this one and a finishing powder.
I am not a huge eyebrow makeup person, but if they need a touch up, I use this Cargo kit to shape and then finish them with a clear mascara.
Last but not least, my favorite beauty product. MASCARA! It truly can change your whole look if you choose the right one. Now I have thin, shorter lashes and searched high and low to find some great mascaras and I sure did. Loreal’s Carbon Black is my favorite after I put on the base coat (which is crucial I learned!!) but I also really love Boundless Lashes. However, always make sure you are taking your mascara off at night to keep your lashes healthy!
As you shop for beauty products, always remember that although statement tones are incredibly fun to wear you cannot over look the neutrals that you wear daily!
